“At last year’s rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, an alt-right protester deliberately drove his car into a group of counter-protesters.”

Hey, wait a minute.

The way I remember it, he was being attacked by blacks for the crime of being white, panicked, and accidentally backed his car into somebody while trying to escape.

Deliberately? A malicious lie.

Yes it’s a malicious lie, and charging him with first degree murder makes the Commonwealth of Virginia complicit in the lie.

If somebody hits your car with a baseball bat (which happened to Fields) and you hit the gas, accidentally striking and killing someone, it can’t possibly be premeditated murder.

And, according to news reports, the “murder” victim died of a heart attack.

Involuntary manslaughter, at most.
