It isn’t “gnostic”. Those defending the Union in no way “worshipped” the state.
The “tyranny” so decried by the Slavers and their defenders was an impossibility. Prior to the War the federal government was tiny, there was nothing to worship and people considered the Constitution to be a sacred document inspired by religious divine intervention.
Fortunately we had a leader of genius, like Trump, who though he had enemies everywhere over came them all eliminating an abomination in God’s eyes.
He’s certainly the only president to raise an army to use against Americans.
