You are missing one sign. “Beware of Dog”. There are a lot of potential problems that don’t materialize when you have a pair of barking German Shepherd, Rottweiler, or Doberman patrolling the perimeter. If nothing else, the are a great early alert system. At best, they are a complete deterrent. Nobody is ever going to surprise me with my GSD in the house. Never going to happen.

Aiken County may be desolate, but I like it that way. I can drive to Aiken (City of) and have everything I need from shopping to eating to entertainment. It’s not that far but it’s like being in a different universe.
