Charlottesville: A Clash of Left vs. Left?
Townhall.com ^ | August 12, 2018 | Arthur Schaper

Posted on 08/12/2018 9:52:39 AM PDT by Kaslin

On August 12, 2017, a free speech rally arrived in Charlottesville to stop the removal of the statue commemorating Confederate General Robert E. Lee. Then a group of Neo-Nazis, white knights, alt-right trolls, white nationalists, and other white supremacists showed up. They wanted to protect the statue, albeit for different reasons. Then to counter-protest the white (not “Right”) supremacists, the violent left-wing Antifa hordes with their Black Bloc goons crashed the protest, and all hell broke loose.

With protesters fighting to pulverize or protect the statue of a general who had headed one side of the American Civil War, another civil war broke out. Or at least it seemed that way. The media played up this fight as a microcosm of the political paroxysm overtaking the United States, and that it was President Trump’s fault. However, a grand total of 100 tiki-torchers had marched the previous night, and then a grand total of 600 extremist rioters had showed up the next day.

The (left-wing) mainstream media hyped up this violent clash as a battle between white supremacists on the Right against the anti-fascist Left. Wrong. Both sides are different variants of the political Left. It’s common knowledge that Antifa is as fascist as it gets, using violence and repression to advance their anti-nation, anti-liberty, anti-American agenda. It’s not as well-known that alt-right protesters are actually left-wing agitators, too.

One of the rally’s keynote speakers, Richard Spencer, the godfather of the “Alt-Right”, despises the founding principles of our country, including limited government, individual liberty, and the divine origin of natural rights. Dinesh D’Souza’s documentary “Death of a Nation” brilliantly presented in one interview with Spencer what the founder of the Alt-Right movement has expounded on for years. He is a left-wing statist invested in the ultimate authority of the state, socialized medicine, and the nationalization of public lands. He is a national socialist, but a socialist nonetheless. Jason Kessler organized this “Unite the Right” rally, but he’s actually another left-winger. He voted for Barack Obama. He participated heavily in the Occupy Wall Street Movementand once touted himself as a liberal organizer. The reports of Kessler's left-wing leanings came out within days of the Charlottesville clash last year, but few actually read about it.

This fight between national and international socialists has emerged before. The Spanish Civil War, from 1936 to 1939, served as a dress rehearsal for the Second World War. The Falangists (national socialists) headed by Francisco Franco rebelled against the Spanish Republic, which compromised socialists and communists. (Think “People’s Republic of China”, and you get the idea). Hitler and Mussolini supported the Falangists. The Soviet Union backed the Spanish Republicans. Both sides were composed of socialists, invested in ideas inimical to America’s founding ideals. There were no good guys, but rather a bloody war of national vs. international statism in Spain, nothing more, a clash of ideologies similar to what happened in Charlottesville

What’s going on, though, in the grander scheme? Why the ongoing confusion about left, right, and the mislabeling of different political groups as we witnessed in the tragic violence of Charlottesville?

From grade school to daily news bulletins, our minds are led to see conflicts, political discussions, and even wars as a fight between left and right. This paradigm originates with the French Revolution. During the first sessions of France’s aborted First Republic, the Jacobin radicals sat on the left, and the supporters of the Ancien Regime(the older royal, aristocratic order) sat on the right. Their conflicts focused on who would rule: a king or a collective? The collective won, and with it the tyranny of the Guillotine, relentless riots, and foreign wars. Don’t get me wrong—the French people had every right to rise against royal autocracy which was bankrupting and starving them. But the “cure” proved worse than the disease for the next 80 years until a constitutional republic was established.

The two sides of that political fight did not really discuss the proper (as in smaller) size or scope of the state. Instead, the two ideologies of the partisan divide basically retained a large bureaucratic state, welfarism, subsidies, high taxes and fees as the norm. Individual liberty, limited government, and constitutional rule did not factor into the French Revolution’s initial political reforms. However, those on the Left wanted an absolute reduction of differences, equality at all costs. Consider that Robespierre and his blood-thirsty cronies wanted to abolish all hierarchies and bring everyone under the General Will of the State. The right, whether autocratic of constitutionalist, has never viewed the government as the final end of man.

And as for now: Why is the public still hearing about Charlottesville?

The media, the Democratic Party (the true home of racist, socialist policies, whether national or international), and left-wing academics and pundits are desperate to preserve the lie that these white supremacists are a central part of President Trump’s entourage, the core of the Republican Party in particular, and the motives of American conservatism in general. It’s a brazen fraud. President Trump condemned the violence on both sides last year. He was right to do so, because there WAS violence on both sides, and predictably so. Socialism (national or international) is invested in and defined by force, the use of violence to accomplish its ends. Whereas previous Presidents from both parties would only disparage the violence on the so-called right, President Trump also denounced Antifa, or the Alt-Left, for their violent behavior.

Now it’s time to denounce the Alt-Right for what they are: small, obsessed with identity politics, racist, or more accurately racialist, establishing race as the foundation of everything in culture and community. They are adamant atheists and confirmed collectivists. The so-called “Alt-Right” is really just a pro-white response to the multicultural Left (special thanks to Michael Knowles and Dinesh D’Souza for these revelations). What happened at Charlottesville was not a clash between Left and Right, but Left and Left, between national socialists—specifically white nationalists—and global socialists and communists, nothing more.

The Charlottesville story has taken on a life of it’s own. It is now said the bad actors were the white supremists. The story is that a part of this group of what probably were white supremists and augmenting them were others wanting to save the statues from destruction. This second part of the group had many who were not supremists but did have a common cause - save the statues. This group applied for and received the required permissions to meet in the park. There were no clubs or brass knuckles. Call these Group #1.

Antifa and BLM arrived to demonstrate against the first group and filled the street. These did have clubs. Once antifa was in position, the mayor rescinds the permit group #1 had received and the police ordered them out of the park onto the street now filled with group #2 - antifa and BLM - who then began blooding up group #1.

One protestor was killed when hit by someone in a car who panicked and put the pedal to the medal when his car was nearly surrounded by protestors.

I followed the event pretty closely at the time. And what I’m hearing now doesn’t match what I heard then.

The organizer's intent (Jason Kessler) was to ignite a race war. He is a fraud! No genuine patriotic right winger would invite the Klan and Neo-Nazis.

On December 9, 2015, he (Jason Kessler) wrote:

I can’t think of any occupation that I admire more than the professional provocateur, who has the courage & self-determination to court controversy despite all slings & arrows of the world

That’s right! This man is living his dream as a “professional provocateur.” Now he can claim victory as a mastermind behind the worst racial violence to spill blood on our streets in over twenty years.

The more we research the less we believe the false narrative that Jason Kessler was the victim of a hijacked movement. Indeed the facts lead us to a wholly different conclusion. The evidence says this man wanted to stand at the center of controversy. What better way to do it, than to call his rally “Unite The Right.”

He invited the KKK, Neo Nazis, and other White Supremacist groups. This, of course, courted a response from radical extremists from the other side. The New Black Panthers, Black Lives Matter, and Antifa were happy to meet his soldiers and all the sheep on the battlefield.

Sandwiched in the middle, people from the left the middle and the right who had no idea they were just sheep brought to a slaughter.

People from the left who want to see an end to racism, people from the right who want to see an end to the destruction of our past. Those from the middle seeking an end to both!

One beautiful soul rising to heaven as her broken body lay murdered in the street! One mentally unstable patsy who should have stayed home and taken his meds and gotten more sleep!

All brought together by a man who hails the almighty:
Provocateur

“Richard Spencer, the godfather of the “Alt-Right”, despises the founding principles of our country, including limited government, individual liberty, and the divine origin of natural rights. “

In other words, the “Alt Right” isn’t right-wing. They’re just Leftists with a less-common color preference.

How I Feel After Beyonce’s Racial Superbowl Performance

[2015 Super Bowl 50 halftime tribute to the cop-killing, communist-revolutionary, domestic terrorist Black Panther Party-etl]

by Jason Kessler, 2/12/2016

I’m actually really okay with Beyonce’s racial advocacy at the Superbowl. ... I think it’s really important for white people not to whine about it like little bitches.

Meet the [35] Police Officers Murdered by the Black Panthers [and BP offshoot Black Liberation Army]

The Professional Gunfighter
Posted in: News, Politics, Terrorism

Below are the names and photos of 35 Police Officers who were murdered by the Black Panthers and the subsequent Black Liberation Army in the 60s, 70s and 80s [click link for list and details].

The Black Liberation Army was an organization that grew out of the Black Panther Party, composed of former Black Panther Party members, operating from about 1971-1980. Another two police officers on the list were murdered by the Weather Underground, a domestic terrorist group with ties to the Black Liberation Army.

Despite this readily available information, today the internet was full of articles criticizing those who were upset by Beyonce’s Super Bowl Halftime performance, and questioning how anyone could be upset over a woman “affirming her blackness.” Their analysis couldn’t have been more off.

We have no issues with someone “affirming their blackness” or any other identity they want to affirm. We do take issue when people pay homage to a group that used terrorism and violence to promote racism and revolutionary socialism – a group that murdered dozens of police officers in cold blood.

As you scroll through the list of officers below, look at their photos and read their stories. Among these officers are black men and white men. Rookies and veterans from across the country. Most were killed in unprovoked attacks and ambushes. They all left behind families….

Perhaps Beyonce, someone from the NFL, and someone representing CBS, could read through this list and tell us if they still stand by their decision to honor the Black Panthers during the Super Bowl. Then perhaps they could explain their answers to the surviving wives and children of these fallen officers. ...”

From the (far left) Southern Poverty Law Center...

“At one recent speech in favor of Charlottesville’s status as a sanctuary city, Kessler live-streamed himself as an attendee questioned him and apologized for an undisclosed spat during Kessler’s apparent involvement with Occupy [Wall Street].

Kessler appeared visibly perturbed by the woman’s presence and reminders of their past association.”

“A “journalist, activist and author from Charlottesville, VA,” Kessler’s LinkedIn account states that he graduated of the University of Virginia in 2009. He was virtually unknown in the media prior to his crusade against Charlottesville Vice Mayor and City Councilman Wes Bellamy.”

In was the LEFT in both Instances.

The first time though it was ANTIFA pretending to be Nazis.

They needed a bogey man. When people started looking into who they were.

Found out they flew in from San Francisco, Seattle and Portland. They even caught one guy that admitted he was Leftist Bartender, he voted for Obama twice, but now he said he was right wing Nazi. It was so fake and no one was buying it.

Make no mistake it was ANTIFA in both instances. The first time they got haircuts and coordinated it. They did it because they needed a Bogey man to justify their lawless actions.

The “alt-right” is to the right only of Democrat socialists and the ANTIFA. To whatever there is of the “conservative” aspect of their actions and beliefs, apparently it is only to conserve antebellum relationships between ethnic groups and some kind of faded glory “honor”.

When someone like a Richard Spencer suddenly comes out of nowhere to be the focal point of the Left, it is time to be suspicious of who that person really is (as pointed out in this article).

So what is the take on today’s rally outside the White House. Is it a similar case of Left vs Left?

My daughter lives a block or two away from the scene of the incident.

She said today that a bunch of area churches are having some sort of gathering tonight with heavy security and a permit.

I reminded her that last year, one group had a permit and the city allowed another group to invade their gathering.
