The desert is cleared, and the Iraqi border is secured, Only the town of Hajin along the river (extreme SouthWest of the yellow area) remains in ISIS hands, on the East side of the Euphrates.
Elsewhere in Syria (Suweida) the last rump of the Caliphate is currently collapsing to Assasd-affiliated forces (small black oval in the SW).

I should have known something was going on because some MSM rag was complaining about our troops and claiming they were fighting with Al-Qaeda.

“Liberated” by SDF jihadis. I guess sometimes it’s just not gonna be your day.

It’s going so well for Syria that it’s already moving troops to Idlib, the green area in the NW.
That could be as black as green though.
Syria has bombed rebel areas in the South and then let the enemy go to Idlib and Aleppo (to the W of Idlib) instead of fight. So those provinces are full of terrorists, mostly Turkey-backed.
Surprised Syria is going for it as soon as it looks like they will.

How many "death blows" has ISIS suffered? This must be the 30th or 40th "death blow" in the past year. I wonder where the next "death blow" will be?
