In none of these articles have I seen a quote from the FBI stating the exact cause for his firing. We all know what he did and that he was a psycho, but still, I’d like to see the official reasoning for this.

His testimony to the House apparently did not match up with what Page said behind closed doors. I suspect that this was at least some of the reason that he was canned.
