What is this, like his third different moniker? First he was the East Area Rapist, then the Original Night Stalker, and now he's the "Golden State Killer"?

GSK was coined by Michele McNamara, the late wife of comedian Patton Oswalt, who wrote a book on the offender prior to his arrest, and published posthumously. Yes, he does have a lot of monikers, but that is mainly because he moved around and had a different M.O. over the years. Each jurisdiction/community gave him their own region-specific moniker.
