Sounds like China is colluding with the Democrat base to influence elections.
I get Cuban propoganda broadcasts on AM radio that bleeds over near stations in Texas.
Radio, radio radio, radio
Imagine the furor if some Taiwanese did the same?
Actually, that would be great.
“And now, radio from the Chinese government that never starved and murdered tens of millions of helpless Chinese people, it’s Radio Free Taiwan!”
Good luck with that guys!
Looks like the Mexicans figured out how to make some money out of the Chinese!
XPRS!
Should be a welcome heir to “Air America”, and “Al Jazzera”, and all the other alternative “successes” we have witnessed in the war against “Right Wing Talk Radio”! May they invest millions and millions in this pointless enterprise.
Or better yet just start a MAGA station on this side of the boarder.
There is a sports station in Mexico that broadcasts in English to SoCal. What is odd is they will have English public service ads for Mexican government agenciessocial security, election laws, sex discrimination, etc. Very odd to hear.
On an earlier thread, there was some interest here in “bombing Iran,” in response to some Iranian $hitball General. Don’t waste the munitions! Use them on Mexico. Mexico is like a boil on America’s a$$, that needs a serious “lancing!”
More than 30 years ago at a local California Republican Assembly meeting, I, tongue-in-cheek, suggested that it was time for America to invade and take over Mexico. We could make it a nice place to live and we’d have had a much shorter border with the rest of this hemisphere (and no river).
Hindsight is always 20/20!
Just claim it causes global warming and the environmentalst will burn it down.
That's how the Carter family got going. Must have been strange to sing old American folk tunes from Mexico. The station could also advertise quack medicines that would have had trouble getting cleared by US authorities.
CRI hits AM border radio.
The 1st time I saw a communist, or racist, was in Mexico.
One of the signs of the apocalypse?
Mexican jumping beans?
Hey! this is your Amigo! Arne Coro! on Radio Havana!
I will teach you how to make an antenna from a stick and a scrap of wire.... Send me your contact information amigo...
I can get Bagdad clear as a bell in Tx at sunrise and sunset on the grey line.
On a portable hand held set.
Wolfman and a lot of patent medicine pushers were on XERF, a station across the Rio Grande from Del Rio, Texas. It was way more powerful than the 50,000 watt limit for US AM stations. It could be picked up anywhere in North America. Wolfman sent the station tapes to be broadcast. Doubt if he ever set foot in the station. It was the only thing we could pick up in the wee hours driving home from baseball games.
3 replies - not bad!
I like their cover of Ring of Fire, too. Its a bit psychedelic.
