I spent 28 years in uniform and now almost 10 out and never had a bit of facial hair.

About 6 weeks ago, I left it grow. My wife LOVES it. I HATE it. It actually hurts.

I guess I'd better get used to it.

At 6 weeks you might still be in the “bristly” phase. Once the hairs get to about a half inch or so it won’t be so bad.
