“To the contemporary left, everything comes down to a didactic world groups that have power and that groups that do not.”
I think he means “dialectic” here, not “didactic”.
While conservatives are playing the Whos the real racist? game, the Left is busy normalizing pedophilia. They don’t care about hypocrisy. Conservatives have been saying “the Democrats are the real racists” for 30 years, and no dent was put into the Democrat minority vote.
Not only do the Democrats and media try to project their own racism onto the right, they also try to project their Russian collusion onto Trump and every other nefarious crime against the nation in which they have been involved onto the right. And they are good at doing it.
As soon as they yell “racist!”, the dialog shifts from your making a point they cannot defend against, to you suddenly having to argue how you are not racist. Don’t fall for it! Smile! Thank them for acknowledging your debating superiority. Declare victory. Gloat in your victory, and dismiss them while walking away. Do not suffer fools.
When a group has the power to get a person fired, and even make that person unemployable in response to that person offending a member of the group, then that group is the one with the most power.
Because they can.
With no fear of measure for measure pushback.
D'OH!
“To know who has the power, look at who you cannot criticize.” Voltaire.
Right now, that’s the political left and their chosen “oppressed” groups.
They even have the power to redefine bad terms to never apply to them (racism, stupid, ignorant) while redefining good terms to always apply to them (love, smart, educated).
