He’ll keep it going until the midterms in hopes of dems taking back the house. When that doesn’t happen he will wrap it up or Trump will fire Sessions and name someone who will end this thing
I think Trump will fire Sessions if the R’s gain enough seats in the house and Senate. I think Jeff will be gone by the end of the year in this case.
