Also, who are these 16% so-called Republicans who view socialism positively? Is this due to the way the pollsters are defining/describing socialism?
Who are the Democrats? They are largely unskilled, under educated, under knowledgeable, who are being led by manipulators who live in mansions, using them to support their personal goals. They shouldn’t be considered Democrat voters, they are democrat “Suckers”.

16% of Republicans view socialism favorably? Maybe if the Republicans are elites and from Europe...not real Republicans...
What percentage of Democrats (or Republicans) can even define those two terms?
The vast majority of those who favor socialism define Corporatism as Capitalism. The vast majority of those who favor Capitalism (R or D) define Corporatism as Socialism.
The ACA is Corporatism ... welfare to big insurance, big pharma, big hospitals, big IT. But few call it what it is.
Go down the list. On the local level, a Nevada politician runs on only one thing ... welfare to pro-sports teams. And, at least in the national media, nobody calls it what it is.
So this poll is meaningless, except to prove that most Americans are economically ignorant.
