Most likely all pedos are tied together one way or another.
I could care less what denomination someone wants to associate, but the Catholic Church has taken significant steps to protect pedophiles in their ranks. They need a criminal prosecution.
Filth. Absolute filth.
Which means they may be experiencing a punishment much worse than that. One that never ends.
Boom?
Boggles the mind.
How does the Monsignor hold his liquor? By the ears.
I just cannot imagine a punishment that is commensurate with these crimes against these children, the church and God................
That seems almost a certainty. And once the connection has been made, hopefully dominos will fall.
Remember Tiger Woods? Total cover up by the sports world and media because he traded access.
I’m convinced that DC has a deal with the media to keep them at bay, not report any of the filth that goes on back there.
I usually look away from this sort of news because there is more than enough horrific news to contend with.
But I was always curious how Christianity could be hated by some who would never ever stop to listen to the real message of Christ.
Now I know why.
The message these young abused boys received about Christ was that of an evil gathering of horribly creepy men in robes.
What is worse?
The sexual abuse?
Or the turning of a young child against Christ?
And one more thing, when I was young, I didn’t attend Christian services all that much but at a beach house in Delaware where my family would take long summer vacations, there was an assortment of books. One was a beautiful Catholic reader written at a level a 10-year-old could grasp the essence of scripture from Genesis to the Resurrection with beautiful illustrations.
I always thought if the Catholic Church can put together such beautiful readers and impart biblical knowledge and lessons so clearly, they must have the true spirit of Christ dwelling in their midst. And as I grew my thinking was confirmed by stories of heroic Catholic priests who risked their lives to save entire generations of people.
How then can this awful tale of abuse arise from within the Catholic Church? Where are the good priests and bishops? I am sure they exist but where are they? Why are they not speaking out?
So sick. Watching the report here in Pittsburgh where they are saying that several of these pedophiles, 4 from Pittsburgh, contributed pictures of the children to create a library of child porn produced and accessed on church grounds. Also, priests would give gold crosses to their “favorites”, a gold cross that was a signal to other priests that the child had been desensitized to sexual abuse.
The RC church is a few centuries behind with its “celibate” clergy thing. Ending that outdated requirement and allowing normal married men into its ranks would go a long way toward ending its intractable pederasty problem.
Until then, they deserve every lawsuit and criminal conviction they get.
We had a coven in MA. The death of the church will take a few years. First the parishioners will leave in droves. Then the lawsuits will drain them dry.
THEN more than half of the parishes will close.
At every part of the legal process the church was obstructionist. At every turn the church tried to protect their rapists.
The church has not learned it’s lesson. The losers are the faithful. But, blind faith in men is a bad plan.
The church and Joe Pa looked the other way.

The preponderance of “churches” today are simply businesses. They all claim to be in The God Business!” The way out of this is to sue them and take away all their money and real property, as you would with any other corrupt business, and jail their “CEO’s!”
The Catholic Church needs to do some serious house-cleaning. The problem is that the pedos have infiltrated so thoroughly and pervasively, they would rather see the Church go down in flames than solve the problem. Because, at the end of the day, access to small kids is really why these monsters became priests in the first place.
You are correct. They were not raping babies. Generally, in our case, they would go after 11-15 year olds who trusted these men.
The priest is supposed to save souls. These men destroyed lives.
If you were talking about sexual harassment in an office to this degree the CEO would have quit this afternoon.
It's actually, *They do it more*.
And the worst defenders of the pedo priests is, sadly, some FRoman Catholics right here on FR.
There are some who WILL NOT condemn their church or priests for what happened or how it was handled.
They just finger point, forgetting that there are four fingers pointing back at themselves.
This is staggering and absolutely unconscionable.
for a group that claims to be the way to heaven and have the power to send people to heaven or hell, it's a horrendous abuse of power and misrepresenting the name of Christ to their victims in a way that is totally satanic.
The scope of this and the complexity of the cover up is worthy of the Clintons.
