Vice President Mike Pence will visit Dallas Rep. Pete Sessions' district ahead of the November elections as part of a determination that the longtime incumbent's campaign against Democrat Colin Allred is the top mid-term priority in Texas.
That's the word from Corey Lewandowski, senior strategist to Pence's political action committee.
"Pete's district is probably the most critical for us," he said Wednesday at a breakfast hosted by the Christian Science Monitor. "When you look at the race, you look at his opponent, and you look at where things are."

Texas is turning blue because the Bush family values don’t stop at the Rio Grande and it’s an act of love.......
Toyota has moved too many Californians into his district, eh?
Texas is turning blue because of:
1) Affluent suburban white women who voted for Dole, Bush, McCain, Romney and for the first time, voted for a Democrat, Hillary Clinton or voted for Libertarian Gary Johnson. They’re pro-choice women. Economically conservative. They’re worried about abortion and the children at the migrant center. They don’t care about the economy.
2) Latino demographics.
Sessions will beat Allred by 4 points, but this is a race to watch.
Cruz and Abbott will be reelected possibly as well, by large margins.
Abbot seems a shoo-n, but TCruz could lose. The Democrat front against Cruz is unyielding.
There used to be a lot of big Japanese companies manufacturing in the Tijuana area. The Japanese companies had administrative offices on this side of the border in San Diego, or Torrance CA. Most of those plants are gone. The Toyota Tacoma truck production moved to Mexico across the border from Texas. The Japanese are not stupid. They do not want to deal with California any more.
Beto is looking strong, and campaigning hard. Cruz needs to work harder than he thinks he does.
We aren’t turning Blue!
