And he’s still alive. I had to check as I wasn’t sure. :-)

I don’t live there. It was the CT and NY people who drove the decent land prices so high I had to sell the Family homestead because we couldn’t afford the out of state taxes.

Not blaming YOU, just had to laugh about the CT comment.

And yeah, that candidate is a hoot, huh? More like a sacrificial lamb. VT sure is pretty. But is so messed up.

Ew, you still live there ?

Throughout my young life in CT I never really got into any trouble. I mean, no one mugged me or attacked me or really even bothered me.

A few lunatics here and there, but whatever.

But then I got a job at Yale University. I worked there for 3 years. During that time I was attacked 15 times on my bike, 4 times in the parking lot, swarmed 2 times on my bike and my employees got the same. That place is a miserable nightmare.

Oh yeah and then there was handjob harry. We have no clue who he was but he used to stand on the corner while his girlfriend gave him a handjob.

I hate that city.

I could never figure out why dealers were killing their customers. Finally an ex-addict told me the same thing. That is sick, very, very sick.

Don’t eat the brown acid.

The warning that I received, you may take with however many grains of salt you wish, that the brown acid that is circulating around us, is specifically not too good. It's suggested that you do stay away from that; of course, it's your own trip, so, be my guest. But, please be advised that there is a warning on that one.

fun fact: The New Haven Green is a cemetary. The headstones were moved indoors to the church when the city decided to use it for public events. Still, to this day of all the events that happen on the green you are not allowed to put a stake into the ground. The electric, tents, events and everything are special to that green - they don’t get anchored in anyway. They are usually tied to trees.

My child psychologist in Southern California was basically his exact twin. I mentioned it once and he said they’d met once and were both amazed at the resemblance.

I’m in the ‘burbs, but I work in New Haven. My family has lived in this area for over 200 years. My roots are deep.

I love it when eery so often one of the trees falls over and a bunch of human remains re found. Always made clear in the news, oh, they’re not from last weekend’s shooting or that missing kid. These are the really old bones.

Connecticut may be the richest state in the nation overall but they do have their share of poor areas.

Fetanyl has changed the game. It is an elephant tranquilizer that dealers use to adulterate heroin and cocaine. It is extremely powerful and it takes very little to be lethal. Down here all of the emergency service people carry epipens to revive those who overdose.

My hometown - Willimantic - became a sheethole around the same time as New Haven . When I was a kid in the 50’s and 60’s it was still pretty damn nice .

And until recently, you probably never remember a rash of teens eating laundry detergent/huffing condoms, and a lot of other idiotic behaviors....

What I’ve seen on TV shows leads me to wonder why the junkies aren’t taking revenge on the pushers.

How many New Havens? Don’t know, but there is one in WV. Nice little town.
