Well the larger problem is that this "gangsta thug culture" is celebrated by its fans and tolerated by everybody else (out of fear of being labeled a racist).
So this kind of antisocial behavior will continue as there are never any real consequences for it. A millionaire rapper getting kicked off a plane? Big deal. Rapper gets some additional notoriety and "street cred" which adds to his appeal.
The sad part is that millions of kids who adopt this culture not only make them virtually unemployable but their thuggish, sullen, vulgar 100% negative nature make normal people want to stay away from them.
Only a few of them ever make it to the big time where they can make a living with that lifestyle.
