A Colorado man confessed Wednesday to killing his pregnant wife and their two young daughters, a day after authorities launched an investigation into their mysterious disappearance, reports said.
Chris Watts, 33, admitted killing 34-year-old Shanann Watts, who was 15 weeks pregnant, and daughters Celeste, 3, and Bella, 4, FOX31 Denver reported, citing a family source

Probably for the same reason Scott Peterson murdered Lacy and their unborn child.
Probably had a girlfriend and a family was a pain in the butt that he had to spend money on or pay support for if he divorced the wife.
Just speculation, but it sure wouldn’t be the first time.

Yeah, his news interview was so casual! Didn’t seem concerned at all...just standing around. Any normal loving husband would have been out there looking for her, not giving casual interviews with no sense of urgency!

The husband is always the #1 suspect in these situations so this guy was an idiot for speaking to the press like that in the first place. In my mind, he convicted himself right there in that 10 minute interview. It was an utterly pathetic performance.
Would love to see the police interview recording when that becomes available. I bet it took under an hour to get the confession.
