House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) told the Chicago Tribune editorial board on Tuesday that Democrats need to take back the Chamber in November’s midterm elections so she may be restored as speaker of the House to provide “a check and balance” on President Donald Trump. Although Pelosi did not credit Trump for any of the many accomplishments of his short tenure as president, including — in the board’s words — his role in the economy, which is now “roaring.”
The article also noted her stance seems to ignore “joblessness at a record low for Hispanics and near a record for African-Americans.”
“She didn’t go there,” the article said.

Was she worried about checks and balances when they had the White House, House and Senate?
Liar! She wants the power again. The power to command others, the spotlight, the private plane and other perks.. Things she could have with her husbands money but it just isn’t the same if the People aren’t paying for them.
When you are worth $200 million you want to make sure your swamp check balances.
She’s probably got several irons in the fire WRT “Insider Information” profiteering.....so she needs the Speaker’s title to cash-in.
Unless, of course, that "blue wave" only exists in your dreams and turns out to be a Red Wave - in which case you you may be involuntarily retired, at the very least out of contention for a leadership position.

We should do something against lying hypocrites in order to preserve the checks and balances of the media,the federal liberal judges,Silicon Valley, social media gatekeepers,Hollywood,television,sports and popular music.
Otherwise this is a free country. No it’s not, really.
She already said two or three times she would no longer have dealings in DC with President Bush.
Not once did she go into the White House in 2017 or 2018 and meet with President Bush.
