President Donald Trump's military parade is estimated to cost $92 million, according to a U.S. defense official with firsthand knowledge of the assessment.

An earlier estimate pegged the cost at $12 million.

The parade will take place in the nation's capital on Nov. 10 and will feature armored vehicles, aircraft flyovers and period uniforms.

FAKENEWS CNBC didn’t even get the date right. It’s actually Nov 11th, 2018 aka Veteran’s Day.

Personnel brought in TDY would add about $180/day/person while they are in DC. Travel costs to and from also would be additional, not to mention any transport of equipment. $80 million is an off the wall estimate.

Personally, I’m proud of our military, so I don’t mind giving them some respect. But then maybe it’s just me.

When they sit in barracks there is no transportation or logistics involved, when equipment sits on the ground on bases there is no fuel, labor or transportation costs. When aircraft sit on the ground there are no fuel or labor costs, and that doesn't even take into account the wear and tear and accelerated maintenance costs. But hey why let facts get in the way.

This article is all Bolshevik anyway since there has been no further mention of a huge symbolic parade by Trump in lord knows how long, as a matter of fact the hostile media is are the only ones keeping this story alive.

Tourism of people coming to DC will make up for any cost—This is great PR for the nation. Like the old Soviet Union, should use it to show off new weapons, rockets, flyover of new experimental warplanes, etc...A patriotic bash like other nations have.

The 1991 Military Parade through D.C. cost an estimated 8 million, 3 million of which came from the tax payers and the other 5 from private sources.

From the same article...

The U.S. has not held a major military parade in Washington since 1991 to mark the end of Operation Desert Storm. The 1991 parade reportedly cost approximately $8 million and was paid for with about $3 million in government funds and the rest with private donations.

This unnamed "source" say's a similar parade will cost more than 10 times that? Sounds like a Trump hater who doesn't want Trump getting any kind of positive reaction from "middle" America. Trump could get this done for 12 - 15 million tops with the cost to taxpayers around 5 or 6 million and the rest from private sources

I'd much rather our gov't spend 6 million on a national military parade than 6 million on welfare for foreign nationals here illegally (most of which spit on our flag).

The military will seize government that day and publicly execute all seditionists that afternoon (including anyone that knows them). You heard it here first.

Military gear seldom sits in mothballs. There are training drills, exercises, and testing going on all the time.

If you add up fuel costs to move the gear to DC, the $92 Million cost seems brutishly exaggerated.

This parade can be used to showcase transgender troops, maternity BDUs, that new x-back helmet specially designed to accommodate buns and ponytails, and girl infantry soldiers including 101st Airborne and 75th Ranger GI Janes. That bold brave first female Marine infantry officer being touted the other day can lead the parade. A ROTC company can march in glittery red heels to draw awareness to #metoo.

1991, meet 2018...

Well hell what's another 50, 60, 70, 80, 92 million flushed down the friggin toilet? I'm all for supporting the military and national pride, but the days of of driving nationalism in support of war efforts is a thing of the past.

We don't need some overblown national tribute, what we do need is to bring back the military into small local events and parades on those holidays that they are appropriate for. Unfortunately the left has been too successful in driving pride for America and the military out of our children for decades with the result being that the socialists in charge of our cities have eliminated any outward show of respect with barely a whimper of protest.

If you want to avoid wars, you must show enemy how big and strong you are. A national military parade will make news world wide. Local parades will not cut the mustard.

Golly Gosh, just like Russia, China, North Korea? We don’t have to saber rattle at home, we spend enough blood, lives and money doing that across the world.

True this. Not only to show strength,
but readiness and reaction times. This
parade will be no small task logistics
wise. The saving grace is the number
of the different military branches
that are located near the DC area.
Can’t help but think also, Trump
saw what N. Korea put forth in
their show of force. The US can
easily dwarf that display, while
at the same time, instill a great
sense of patriotism and pride that
some would think no longer exists.

Veteran's Day parade, but on the 10th, will cost $92 million, or about the amount the Soetero family spent of our money on vacations and getaways each and every year the kenyan was in office.
