After several hours of hype from MSNBC, Omarosa Manigault Newman appeared on the network again to show off a new secret White house recording and it revealed…nothing we didn’t already know before.

Manigault Newman spoke to Craig Melvin today in order to counter the attacks on her credibility, and defend her new gossip-filled book about President Donald Trump‘s White House.

I once knew of someone who recorded (legal, by the way) things, conversations, etc. In order to extort or otherwise gain advantage. She also came on to men, serially, then carefully recorded how they responded, over time, so she could “expose” them, ruin their marriages, take their jobs, etc. Things did not turn out well for that person. “Some things you can’t put a price on” is dead right.

Omarosa, I hate to break it to you sweetheart, but there is absolutely NOTHING special about you.

You have no talent, nothing of consequence to offer anyone, except your whiney, narcissistic, spoiled-brat, immature, and attention grubbing ways.

You’re the black, female, version of David Hogg...anything to get on TV.

There are times in our lives when we have to evaluate ourselves and our own behaviors, and that’s what your problem is.

You obvious feeling of entitlement - for what, who knows - has run its course, and you’re at road’s end.

You blew the well-paying jobs, and now it’s cashier at WalMart for you...maybe.

Everyone has heard your tapes, but only your kindred spirits are listening.

“Sometimes for sport.”

I worked for an SVP and his VP report. In meetings they’d josh about how many they’d fired that day. A real barrel of laughs they were.

In other words, she admitted she willingly went to work for a man she claims is a racist. Not too smart there, huh. Oh, wait, it WAS at the WH.

They were willing to give her $180K to kick her upstairs. Wow…we could use some of that prejudice she’s complaining about. What a waste of oxygen.

I have known a few women like Omarosa. I think most of us have.

Crazy with ambition, devoid of conscience/integrity.

She is very talented...of that there is no doubt. Talented...but in obscure ways.

But her weaknesses bring her down.

There is no depth to which she will not sink to achieve her goals of...

In fact, that is the question. What are her goals?

I don't think it is money. It might be fame, but fame without integrity is nothing more than notoriety.

Her lack of conscience left her with the idea that fame is a goal in and of itself.

Well, she has met her goal...and now her 15 minute clock is ticking.

Integrity is tough.

If you recognize our eternal condition (bound by integrity and conscience), people call you an old fart (or worse).

But there is no other foundation on which an eternity might be built.

And the problem is with those who think that we are not living in an eternal structure.

Those who bear up under this burden of life know well...this condition is eternal.

What you do, what you say...everything about you is eternal.

And, not to sound pedantic, but there is only one way out of this burden of behavior, thought, and dream...

I'll leave it to you to figure out where your redemption can be found.

This whole episode wasn’t like things were awkward or anything like that...

Of course it was awkward, but when you are making a detour through Hell, keep going. No matter how deep into the pit you go.

Some 95% of all the personal woe in this world is self-induced.

Congratulations Omarosa, you will soon be going the way of Cindy Sheehan, David Hogg, and a host of other useful idiots.

I’d hate to be you when it finally dawns on you what a monumental mistake you just made.

Millions would have given almost anything to have the opportunities you squandered.

I'm starting to wonder if this is a setup against the Democrats. They have shown themselves to be suckers over the most outrageous claims against President Trump, and they are doing it again.

I think you are right. Obsessions and intense fixations often lead to irrational and self-destructive behavior.

“Omarosa is quite skilled and poised speaking in front of groups, cameras and high ranking people.”

*******************

I wouldn’t classify that a skill. Its more of an oratorical flair. Obama had the same thing. He could confidently stand before any audience and smooze and lie to people with no compunctions or concerns about the truth. His oratory was useful in the political arena where spouting useless nonsense, diatribes and accusations can win over gullible audiences with deeply ingrained biases, but in the end he was was a demonstrable light weight devoid of any substantial or lasting accomplishments.

Same thing with Omarosa; she has no real legacy of tangible accomplishments that anyone is aware of. She was just a “personality” like the equally talentless Kim Kardashian. Yes, you can make the argument that people endowed with “stage presence” are compelling personalities who make people pay attention, but basically they are just actors playing a role.

I see ‘skill’ as acquired expertise in doing something or producing something of value and ‘talent’ as developed aptitude in a particular field or activity. She has acquired neither in my opinion. But we can agree to disagree.

Trust is trust. It needs no explanation. I think we can both readily agree on that.
