“Why didn’t the cops get a translator?”
There are approximately 350 languages used in the U.S. Would you know what language was being spoken if you don’t speak their language they don’t speak yours? I don’t think it’s as easy as you think. I also don’t think the police have 350 translators standing by. Would you recognize Punjabi if you heard someone speaking it?
If America accepts foreigners from every corner of the world and not enforce them to know a hint of English, then America should be able to provide translators.
