What is a religion?

How did the court determine that this organization is satirical and thus not religious? Was it based on their subjective beliefs? What are the "serious and coherence" rules?

These questions are important because religious organizations get special treatment under the law (e.g. tax exemption).

I recall Democrat Phelpsians holding up the GHF signs and protesting against Bush's war in Iraq. I can't ever seem to recall them pushing for prayer in schools. Or protesting against abortion. This is Pastafarians, not "Phelpsians."

I don't know what "Phelpsians" are but I suspect they have nothing to do with the conversation.

If they let these jerks wear them for the ID, then they should be required to wear it at all times. Otherwise, they should be arrested or ticketed for not having a valid I.D. when they are pulled over.
