Erdogan is going to hold a grudge about this, and try to stab us in the back at some future date. Mark my words.
He’s suffered a major loss of face.
Even without this episode, Erdogan would stab us in the back.
It also tells us something important - either he has no advisors willing to tell him the truth for fear of retribution or Erdogan simply doesn’t listen to them.
Erdogan already had a grudge against the U.S. So, this is just another grudge.
You may be right, but it’s not America’s job to save the face of everyone, esp. at the cost lf our own citizens.
