Brennan is motivated by his own exposure in the role he played in the attempted coup against Trump. His only hope is to bring down Trump before he is more publicly exposed for being the traitor he is. This attempted coup is unprecedented in American history and must be exposed in it’s entirety with the perpetrators prosecuted. Failure to do so opens the door to repeat performances in future campaigns and the very real possibility of violence in each election cycle.
