The jury (jurist means judge or law scholar) should be sequestered for their safety. If they are allowed to go home at night, they could easily be followed.
And for years I have assumed that every FReeper is known to the internet by some means.
although their audience is not included, any one with a brain knows Manafort is not connected to Trump,was for a while in the beginning but no longer.

If CNN were clever, they wouldn't directly release the names, but would interview them publicly, allowing them to be tracked and doxxed implicitly, rather than implicitly.

I believe your suspicion is correct. One of the umpteen angry democrats in the Mueller office will find a way to leak juror names to enemies of the people.
If any enemy in the press leaks the names, they must without question be arrested for jury tampering.
But there is another angle they can take to avoid being implicated in jury tampering.
They, the enemies in the press, upon receiving the names of the jurors, may give the information to some of the same goons that threatened the Judge in the case today. When the news comes out of jurors or their family members being threatened, the enemy press can shrug their shoulders and say “it wasn’t me”.
These are felonies. Sessions is recused from anything to do with this trial. Rosenstein will do nothing. We are screwed.

Sessions can do nothing because the a-hole recused himself. Rosenstein is in the pocket of the enemy camp. We are screwed unless Congress reactivates legislation to appoint a special prosecutor for this jury tampering and judge threatening.
There are a number of things that a sensible person does not do if he or she is concerned about their overall health and well being if they are dealing with the legal system — jury tampering is not one of them; depending on the rank of the judge especially if he is a federal judge, jury tampering is guaranteed to anger him big time.
Depending on how bad his mood is, you’re looking at a not so nice stay in a federal pen.

This is not funny anymore. Like it or not CNN is the dominant source of “news” in this country. Its on in all major airports, doctors offices and elsewhere. They are virtually 100% negative in their broadcast reporting on the duly elected President of The United States who is doing a stupendous job.
They have reached a level of derangement that is a clear and present danger to this nation.
I think it’s time to take a look at their broadcast license and see what their responsibilities are in maintaining it.
Another option is for the Judge to dismiss the charges. At least that’ll keep the jury safe.

Why should juror’s names EVER be released. They are performing a civic duty, at great sacrifice of time and perhaps money. Why subject them to further distress from one or other faction who has an interest in the judicial proceedings?
