Wishing that someone would tell me what Brennan can’t talk about now that he could “legally” talk about before.
I could be wrong, but I believe it means sharing any information that requires such a clearance, with Comrade Brennan, oops Mr. Brennan would be a crime.
Now, just get some traceable info to a suspected leaker and then when Brennan mentions it, you’ve got a couple of criminals caught red-handed.
Brennan can’t talk about anything that’s classified before or now.
He just can’t get any new classified information now that his access has been cut off. At least not directly, he’ll have to get it through a leaker.
I was at a much lower level than Director Brennan and left intelligence in 1983 and I still can’t talk about certain things or travel to communist countries without permission.
Brennan can’t talk about the SCIF, SC, etc. material that he still receives on a regular (daily) basis, because now it could get his sources fired.
