Virginia Democratic Sen. Mark Warner on Friday said he plans to present an amendment preventing President Trump from “arbitrarily revoking security clearances.”
Warner’s announcement came after Trump earlier this week revoked the security clearance of former CIA Director John Brennan and hinted Friday that he would soon do the same for Department of Justice official Bruce Ohr.
“I will be introducing an amendment next week to block the President from punishing and intimidating his critics by arbitrarily revoking security clearances,” Warner tweeted. “Stay tuned.”

I wonder if Trump could revoke Mark Warner’s security clearance? It would be kind of hard to serve as the Vice Chair of the Senate Intelligence Committee without a security clearance.

Warner is one of the most corrupt, lying and partisan members of the senate. Trumps actions were not arbitrary, nor is removing someone’s security clearance an assault on free speech. That argument is a talking point for the left to rile up the stupid Democrat and Leftist base. Those clearances are allowed for transition and for those individuals to assist a new administration. Brennan loses on both accounts: the administration is no longer in transition and Brennan sure isn’t trying to assist the Trump administration. He and every other Obama appointee needs to keep their clearance. Brennan is corrupt, a liar and anti-American and should never have been CIA Director, but weak ass Republican senators did nothing to prevent this avowed communist and later Muslim from serving in one of the most sensitive positions in our government. In addition to having his clearance removed, Brennan should be charged and tried for treason.

Good move idiot. If someone needs to consult him they can just contact him. He doesn’t need security clearance. Every job I’ve ever had that required security clearance or for that matter any job I’ve had, once I was gone, I lost my access. As I should have.
Fine. Revoke security clearances on ALL ex-employees.

I had always thought that was normal procedure ,, or at least they would expire at some regular review time period... Absolutely no reason for clearance if you are no longer employed in an area that requires it...
