For much of the last two years, Senate Intelligence Committee Chairman Richard Burr has been the Russia investigator who is seen but rarely heard on Capitol Hill.

In an exclusive interview with The Associated Press, the North Carolina Republican opened up about the investigation that has now consumed 19 months of his life. He says it has been

Completely manufactured ‘scandal’ to prevent Trump from doing his job. Period.

Richard Burr is a descendant of Aaron Burr, ponder that for a moment.

Burr is pathetic, and can’t see the dang witch hunt right under his nose.

Senate Intelligence Committee? Isn’t that the group that the poor guy who was being investigated into bankruptcy said to their faces “damn you all to hell”?

Sundance calls this the most corrupt of the corrupt Senate Committees.

“Burr says the investigation has yielded information outside the boundaries of the probe that the committee will likely look into for years to come, including the social media manipulation.”

Job security.

Can’t be too difficult, since Burr has allowed Warner to pretty much run the show. Bums like Burr care more about “the institution” of the Senate than they do the truth.

The fact that there is absolutely no evidence of collusion is proof positive that it exists!

Adam Schiff told me so...and he wouldn’t lie!

Oh, he sees it - he just hopes it works well enough to get Trump to resign without damaging the rest of the RINOs so they can get back to the old Bush/Globalist way of doing things.

More dissembling from Dick “Dumb as a box of rocks” Burr?

Lost all his marbles playing for the Deacons...

Russia probe difficult because fiction is always a hard sell and liberals are extreme with fiction.

“Job security.”

Manufactured job security to give the bastards an excuse not to do anything worthwhile in the Senate.

My impression of this report is that Burr is content to wait it out to see if any half-assed witches can be found. I get the impression that he’s establishment all the way and would love to have a reason to make life miserable for Trump. Hopefully, I’m wrong about his motivations.

[Burr is pathetic, and can’t see the dang witch hunt right under his nose.]

Burr has basically ceded his committee chairmanship over to the Democrats.

Oh he sees it. For it to be an honest inability to see the truth would presume integrity - and stupidity, of course - something he has none of. Not none of the stupidity part...rather its the integrity part that’s missing. I would have more respect if in truth he is simply too stupid to get what so many millions of us get. But, this isn’t about stupidity.

Yes it is difficult for someone like Burr who majored in Communications as a star football player at Wake Forest. Very difficult indeed.. The Obama administration had zero public policy I remember to confront hacking , particularly foreign. In fact it was open season. I’ve been wondering how much of this went on in 2012 as the Russians and others had a clear preference for Mr. Tell Vlad -Flexibility after the election .

just more FakeNewsMSM to give impression there’s a serious investigation into Russian interference blah blah…

don’t forget last month Burr showed his true colors:
