Broncos general manager John Elway created a stir Friday when he said Colin Kaepernick had a chance to sign with Denver but turned them down. Elway failed to mention that the Broncos wanted Kaepernick to take a major pay cut....

...Kaepernick seemingly responded to Elway's comments by retweeting a tweet comparing his career quarterback rating to Elway's rating:

Life time Packer fan (Owner actually), so take this the way it's offered...

"....I don’t care if they win every game will not watch them..."

Luckily you'll never be presented with this dilemma. :-)

Crappernick walked out on his contract in SF (which IIRC was at a pay cut). Then wondered why he had to take a pay cut elsewhere?

Could it be that he just wasn’t that good?

Elway was not a great QB as far as it goes, but he was still a winner of one stuporbowl.

Colon has a serious chance to score big in a tce law suit! In the mean time just have the nfl players union pay him 20 million/ year or whatever he thinks he is worth as a ghost qb. I’m confident all the players will gladly face a mandatory contribution percentage to fund his salary.....voila everything is fixed....

So, how much is Kaepernick getting with his current gig?

Probably a lot less than what the Broncos offered.

Elway failed to mention that the Broncos wanted Kaepernick to take a major pay cut.

The author fails to mention what the offer was in terms of dollars and years.

I have been thinking about Tebow during this whole thing. I respect him and his ability, but he is not an NFL starter. He just isn’t. No matter how bad his fans want him to be. He seems to have moved on.

Kapernack is not an NFL starter, no matter his color, his knee, or what his fans hope for.

They are a good example of how a person adapts, adjusts, and moves on. And then there is Colin.

Career win-loss records (regular season): Elway 148-82, Kaepernnick 28-30.

Super Bowl wins: Elway 1, Kaepernick 0.

David Burge wrote it in a Twitter post.

Not a football fan here but Afrosheen’s response tweet is the equivalent of, “I know you are but what am I”. Carry on.
