Lol... we had one.
It was the least expensive car to own that we have ever had.
Almost zero mechanical issues,
1, It doesn’t get that great of mileage for it’s size,
2, you have to use premium gasoline in the engine (where’s the economy in that when it’s 50 cents more a gallon),
3, they are ugly as a mud fence,
4, resale sucks,
5, if you’re in an accident in one, you are never more than 2 feet from the POI.

I remember years ago when a story about one of these cars you have pictured here was posted on FR and one of the commentors said something like “I’ll throw a stick in front of it and it will flip over”.
I still laugh, thinking about that post. It’s an LLLOL. It’s a Long Long LOL.
The ever rising CAFE standards do not reduce oil consumption. People drive more the better the MPG.
I see those toy cars in NYC. I’m amazed that someone would dare to get into one of them. Still haven’t seen one of them on the thruway. Maybe they’re only good for city driving.
