In a New York Magazine cover story, Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting survivor turned progressive activist David Hogg lashed out at Democratic leadership, accusing them of not getting “the f**k off the plate” and giving the next generation its turn.
In the glowing profile, Hogg shares that he plans to run for office when he turns 25. He is on a gap year but will begin college next year and read a “s**tload of books.”
He said that Democratic Socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is “a future president of the United States” and floated the idea of age limits for politicians.
Ocasio-Cortez, 28, won a primary against fourth-ranking House Democrat Joe Crowley (D-NY), but has made a series of gaffes since coming into the national spotlight. Most recently, she drew criticism for banning press from some of her events.
“The reason Republicans are successful right now is because they’re empowering young people,” Hogue argued. “Older Democrats just won’t move the f**k off the plate and let us take control. Nancy Pelosi is old.”

Hogg Breath looks like one of those space aliens we see on Sci-Fi shows and movies.
Except he has one of those really punchable faces. I don’t like fighting, never really did, but that guy needs a good nose punch. I’m sure someone will manage to make it happen just like with Harry Reid. Maybe, like Reid, that will be the last we hear from him.

The age requirements puts an issue out for him. You see him in a race until the 2026 election. You can figure the 22nd district will have a redrawing after the Census (FL is expected to gain two seats), and it might be leveled out to a closer 50-50 mix). Also, if you look....almost 25-percent of the District is Latino. It might be time to go and find some GOP Latino guy in the district and help him start getting noticed.

Pelosi may be on her way out but dissing and crossing her like this isn’t too wise. Even out of office she will probably have a lot of clout with some party apparatchiks who can make Hogg’s political aspirations very challenging.
