(Via CNN) […] As part of the plea deal under discussion earlier Tuesday, Cohen was not expected to cooperate with the government, one source told CNN. However, by pleading guilty both Cohen and prosecutors would avoid the spectacle and uncertainty of a trial.

If they’re letting him please bargain NOW, I can’t help but think the prosecutor isn’t very confident of his case. What he pleas to could be worse than the jury’s verdict. Then, at least they get him on SOMETHING. If they were confident of a guilty verdict, they would allow it. They’re worried.
