This entire investigation is a violation of the law, as the special counsel statute requires that he/she be appointed to investigate a “CRIME.” No crime was stated in the authorizing paperwork, hence the entire thing is VOID AB INITIO.

You make an interesting point. As a matter of Law, does anybody know if prosecuting a non-crime would by itself per se be a punishable offense?
