SAN DIEGO — Rep. Duncan Hunter and wife, Margaret, were indicted Tuesday on charges related to the misuse of $250,000 worth of campaign funds for personal expenses and the filing of false campaign finance records.

The charges of wire fraud, falsifying records, campaign finance violations and conspiracy were the culmination of a Department of Justice investigation that has stretched for more than a year, during which the Republican congressman from California has maintained his innocence.

He’s a good guy, very good guy. Can’t imagine him doing anything dishonest. I will lean for now to the view that he’s caught up in the witchhunt.

Yeah. Sure. He’s so good he had to sell his house and force his wife and kids to move in with his parents while he sleeps in his office to pay back what he ADMITTED were political funds that were improperly spend for personal uses. He was also screwing a lobbyist and his questionable bar bills have already been made public. He’s been under investigation for years, and is probably the last person surprised by this.

Yeah, me too. I was always skeptical from the start it was a hoax, and now I’m certain. How about the people who thought Bob Mueller was secretly on our side? Hell, I don’t even know if Sessions is on our side.

He's been in Congress for almost a decade, after his father held that seat for almost 30 years.

You find plenty of entitled pr!cks with an (R) after their names in Washington these days.

“Hundreds of thousands of dollars in unusual charges on Hunter’s campaign credit card had come under scrutiny, including among other things, an Italian vacation, dental work, purchases at a surf shop, and huge tabs at bars in restaurants in the San Diego and Washington DC areas. Among the most mocked charges was airfare for a pet rabbit to fly with the family, which an aide said was mistakenly charged to the wrong credit card.”

Supposedly a stupid mistake was made and the wrong card was used. Nonetheless the operative word here ... is ... stupid. Charging $250K by mistake to the wrong card? Really?

Trust the Plan - YES!

I can't help but think that those 40,000 sealed indictments are about to get activated.

So, the demoncraps are trying to knock a few of ours off ahead of time.

Didn’t know that, thank you. Whatever his failings, he did a lot of good for Vets.

Trust the Plan

If this is Sessions' plan, it's a really stupid plan.

>Interesting how Jeff Sessions’s Department of Justice has managed to bring charges in THIS case while ignoring or dismissing so many others...

It’s Hillary Clinton’s justice department. I don’t know what type of dirt she has on Sessions, but it must be something nasty.

Yeah, the people still "trusting the plan" are emotionally invested in the con. They have a lot to lose if their narrative collapses, and it IS collapsing, whether they want to admit it or not. Spending day and night, day after day, for months, posting thousands of replies over hundreds of threads, chasing 'crumbs' of made up trash from a group of people pretending to be an insider in order to monetize their youtube channels, must be a hard pill to swallow...Right now, they are in the anger / denial stages of grief.

Sounds like DOJ and the FBI are waging war on Rep congressmen so that the Dems can gain control of Congress and stop the investigations into their corruption. Pay back.

If only we controlled these institutions.
