Is the Executive the only branch that issues security clearances? I cannot imagine the Legislative or Judicial issuing their own.

Is the Executive the only branch that issues security clearances? I cannot imagine the Legislative or Judicial issuing their own. I dunno . . . judges put documents under seal, and someone has to have custody of them. If they are sealed the president may not have legitimate access to them.

Yup, DOD and everbody else gets cleared by the FBI.
