Why would they copy the Clinton model and impeach into certain Senate defeat?

Trump is no more impeachable than Obama was. His die-hard base is too big.

Their base will demand it. Why did they try to filibuster Gorsuch? They are fanatics, and hope to somehow replay ‘74 where Republican Senators ask him to resign, led by freshman Senator Romney.

“Trump is no more impeachable than Obama was. His die-hard base is too big.”

The TPTB obviously don’t fear the deplorables. Trump has the entire corrupt state, corrupt courts, both parties and fakestream media against him. Obola didn’t. They cheered and championed him.

When Mueller presents his impeachment report to congress if you think the media is bad today, they’ll go to defcon1 hysterical levels until Trump is impeached and removed from office.

As Trump changes history, the "stain" of impeachment wouldn't bother him at all. He'd turn it into a positive, and wear it proudly.

He'd be justified in doing so, as opposed to Clinton.

There is an extremely low chance R's lose the House, however, so this is all fantasy. I expect gains. And then lots of heads roll in the Justice Dept., and State.
