UC Berkeley arrogantly touts itself as some sort of birthplace of “free speech” when it’s actually the birthplace of maoist politically-correct thought control speech on U.S. soil.

Free speech on campus has emerged as a hot debate in recent years, amid a rash of speakers being disinvited or violently protested

It's the lack of free speech that is the problem.

What is sickening is that in 2/3 of the states that Republicans control either the legislature or the governorship, that publicly funded schools can abridge the Bill of Rights. Republicans ARE cowards so they go along with this.

When will the liberals start ignoring the SC? Probably when it is solidly conservative. We will learn that the real power is in the state and local governments or something like that. The liberals will never submit to conservative rule, period. Look what happens when they lose a presidential election. They move to nullify it, overturn it. We can not coexist with these people. They are not american at heart.

“'We should expect college campuses to truly be marketplaces of ideas where students learn to value free speech and open inquiry and take that lesson with them as they become the next generation of judges, legislators, teachers and voters,' Casey Mattox, senior fellow for free speech and toleration at the libertarian Charles Koch Institute, told Fox News."

A "marketplace of ideas"?? What an unheard-of idea among Progressives! The very foundation of Progressive ideology is totalitarian in its demands for group-think and group-speak upon all but the top echelons of power in the Progressive movement!

Progressivism represents the very antithesis of the ideas of liberty underlying America's Declaration of Independence and Constitution.

A clever student would say and write what he wants, then sue the state university employee personally for violating his constitutional rights if he is disciplined.

Can we have a back payment for the millions of our dollars that was forceully taken from Conservatives and given to the leftist to wage political war against them over the last 5 decades?

This country has been pushed so far to the left on the backs of money stolen from conservatives by these organizations and by deception thou goverment grants.
