Watergate was the orgasm of the left. They were ecstatic about bringing down a Republican president while he was still in office.
But they will defend a democrat even if it means showing that they are hypocritical, inconsistent, lying and without principles.
Every “journalist” lives to do it again and longs for the fame that would go with the achievement. It doesn’t matter how it would be accomplished. Lying and deceit would be acceptable. The admiration of fellow leftists would mask any guilt over the manner of bringing it about.
