One girl felt comfortable enough to get up, do a sort of twirl, then sit right back down, next to POTUS.

Yes they do. YOu could tell POTUS and FLOTUS were comfortable around children......no doubt from dealing with the grandchildren. So tender despite having to live in such a tough time.
