I’m as impatient as you are but Trump could never just unholster and start banging. As the new POTUS he had to build some political equity before moving on the deepstate. He has done this magnificently. He has also allowed Mueller et al to play out their game. When Trump was elected I said he would need two years to start any move. Wait 5 more months. While you’re doing that try to extrapolate where Muller et al are going to be, in their bizarre frenzy, by then. Get the SCOTUS up. Get the election done. Then ATTACK...

Yes, I agree.

There is a huge difference between the power a president has on paper, and the power he really has. He can only wield the power he actually has. That power must be built by him, and bolstered by a sufficient number of loyalists within his administration to back it up.

At present, it seems apparent that the President is not quite there. Hopefully after the midterms we'll begin to see and feel more actual power emanating from his office.
