Just like Pres. Lincoln, why was JFK so idolized? I read stories that when Jackie was entering the front door to the White House, JFK’s girlfriends were heading out the back.
With the so called “great emancipator”, he himself wrote letters to the head of the news paper of record of the time, Horace Greeley I believe his name was, “If I could free the slaves and preserve the union, I would do it. If I were not to free the slave or free some and not others and preserve the union, I would do it”.
Lincoln also bounced around the idea with others in the Senate of recolonizing the negro into Africa and or the Caribbean, believing they’d not be able to assimilate into our society.
Guess what; Lincoln was right, they never have assimilated.
They seem to have trouble assimilating into their OWN!
