american original, what does that mean? I’ve seen that others said it about mccain too, but we are all originals, no two alike. if born in usa we are american originals. or do they mean mccain was an oddball nut and just trying tomake it sound like he was something great?

Instead the McCain campaign shut down even talking about contesting Michigan days after her “hockey moms” speech electrified the GOP convention. The hockey moms were ready to fight so hard for and with Sarah and the GOPe just brushed them aside.
God bless Sarah and her family. They are salt of the earth people that did not deserve any of the travails they suffered on our behalf.

McCain was many things - I honor him for the service he did his nation in the military, his bravery as a POW - and he did select Palin to be his running mate. But he was not a conservative. 40 years ago, he’d have been a Scoop Jackson Democrat. He was also petty, vindictive, and a sore loser, putting his ego and personal vanity before the best interests of the nation time and again as a senator.
