One major problem with this assumption is that a successor to Sessions would be approved by the Senate.

The Senate would do no such thing. No Repub would risk their “reelection” chances supporting an Impeached President’s nominee.

This would leave Rosen-rat in charge, assuring NOTHING would happen to the Deep State.

That has been my theory for not a long time, but for several months, that firing sessions would be a mild form of suicide for Trump. Because he would never be able to get a successor approved in Congress.
