Our trees don’t lose their leaves until late November unless there is an early hard freeze. Then the leaves simply turn black and fall in a clump overnight. it’s ugly! LOL!

By late November, our trees are pretty naked. The black jack oaks hang on to their leaves through winter but they’re brown. At least there are a lot of cedars and pines so there’s green to be seen throughout winter. It helps a little.
