I want to know why the Sheriff bulldozed the place so quickly. It was on private property and they did it without the permission of the owner.

Yup, the bulldozing of the compound makes no sense with as much evidence that had yet to be analyzed. Very troubling.

Are we reading the same article? Per the property owners:

Then, they tried unsuccessfully to evict them. When they learned that Wahhaj was wanted for kidnapping, they contacted the Taos County Sheriff's Office and gave them permission to search the property

From the photos I’ve seen, I don’t believe it was bulldozed. The main “building” was a trailer, and that was removed, along with the tarp around it, but I didn’t see any bulldozer tracks or scoop pits in the photos.
