I didn’t expect, and sure don’t think Trump expected Kim to cave after just a few months of sanctions and one round of talks. This one’s going to take some time. It’s going to be a long and cold Winter in North Korea... their first one with REAL sanctions in place. We’ll see what Spring brings.
Kim will never ‘deal.’ He’s the son and grandson of Leftist Loonies and couldn’t care less about peace and/or feeding his worshipping hordes. He’s too busy with his Remy and kisaengs.
