The Second Amendment is a RIGHT, it's not a PRIVILEGE! Rights are not licensed or registered! The second Amendment is a doctrine that tells the US government that they may not infringe on our God given right to protect our lives and property. Just thought I'd clear that up.
But your sentiment is correct. The government should have no control over what form that protection takes.
