I figured FReepers would all have their knickers in a twist over the gay thing and show zero sympathy for this family. I wish I had been wrong.
A nine year old — any Age kid —- should be able to say how he feels no matter what. He said he feels gay. Everyone sees gay and straight in society. Every classroom or school has gay families. They see it on tv or hear about it. Was he homosexual? Who knows? That isn’t the point.
So his mommy saw him in pain over how he felt, and she probably spent hours making sure he knew he was perfect however he was, like any good parent would. He felt good about himself. He went in to tell all his friends, and their discomfort made them act out probably on a playground away from authority figures. He had thought he was ok. Now he sees that in the Outside World, he isn’t fit to live. He probably doesn’t even want to disappoint his parents or make them feel bad, so he decides he is unfixable and does something about it.
It’s heartbreaking. Whether he said he was gay or felt like a girl or whatever, that isn’t the issue. Children are allowed to have feelings. All problems can be worked through. But sending him into 4th grade all full of Gay Pride was probably not the greatest idea. Poor kid, poor family. RIP.
I believe this woman has other kids. In a decent society, they would be removed from her home, and she would be placed in solitary confinement until her natural death.

That’s the same mother that’s now an expert on what caused her son to commit suicide. Who knows what other hell was in this kid’s life.
While of course there could be abuse, and the mom should please research that, most likely the boy was feeling feminine. Not sexual at age 9. Just wanting to play with girls toys and wear girls clothes. Who knows whether there is anything to do with his future orientation. Maybe he did indeed have innocent crushes on boys, which at 9 aren’t sexual, just wanting to be near them, maybe give them a kiss or hug.
Children need to be allowed their feelings. No matter what. And they need to have somewhere trusting to share them, and if the feelings are problematic, they need proper help dealing with them. This saves lives. Even a child at 9 with sociopathic feelings CAN STILL BE TURNED AROUND. So of course a child with gender issues can be helped.

Many years back I commented much the same as you on a similar story and my account was banned (I was class of 2000) as a result. The site (at least used to) clearly state they have no love or tolerance for “any” homosexual support.
That’s when I gave up donating when I was banned and just went to lurking until recently. I wasn’t advocating for homosexuality; just empathizing about a loss of life.

BTW; I try to stick away from using the word “gay”. Tired of the English language being hi-jacked. They (right or wrong) are homosexuals.
TO play devil’s advocate for a moment...let us consider:
The “Mom, I’m a fag” is total bullshit to cover for some other psychological abuse in the home. The bullying is also cover for the same.
How do this child’s peers even understand what being a faggot is?
It more likely that this “mother” is a deranged bitch who made this little boy’s life a living hell. I would put money on the idea that she planted the seeds of faggotry in his mind or even pimped him out to some faggot to turn him into one.
Gee, I read "poor baby", "poor kid", "very sad", and an awful lot about how the kid should never have had to be dealing with such things.
What you do not see, and rightfully so, is sympathy for the adults - the "family" that this kid should have had. "But sending him into 4th grade all full of Gay Pride was probably not the greatest idea" is an understatement. And where the hell is the father that this boy was deprived of?
No doubt, the kid was the victim, but his f'd up "family" holds much of the blame for the tragedy and deserves little sympathy for what their neglect caused.
I think JR et al know that I dislike the leftist agenda and the gay agenda with a deep passion. I think they are the same anyway. They know thst I am an advocate for children with ALL SPECIAL NEEDS and I’ve said that I have dealt professionally with children with gender dysphoria. They are innocent children like all children are. They cannot help the toys they want to play with. The clothes they want to wear. They way they feel. They deserve real advocation and I will never stop. These sexual / neurological deformations need to be treated as such and not worshipped.
I do not blame this poor mom in this story. ALL SHE KNOWS is that gay people are good and should feel pride. The entire society has taught her that. Society has killed this boy. Not her. She was trying to do what was right.

I'd be willing to bet money some or all of this story is a lie baked up by a complete loon mother, and that the story has nothing to with homosexuality other than perhaps sexual abuse in the family.

There’s a lot left out of the story, which would make you wonder about the journalist, or the intent of the story. Also, if you notice...the piece only makes it because of what the mother says. The kid may have had severe depression issues.
The activist mother abused the child while he was alive, and she continues to use the child as a prop.

Denver popo is still looking into this, despite the initial ruling of suicide. There has yet to be corroboration of the bullying at school story and other details that only the mom reported.
