Are we waiting for Jeff Sessions to take the bull by the horns? It might be 300 years before he does anything about it.

Mr. Magoo isn’t grabbing anything. I’m still flabbergasted that he’s turned into such a wet noodle. If he had any clue or dignity, he’d resign in disgrace, but it looks like he wants to hang on till the new Congress when he’ll be fired.

Australian diplomat Alexander Downer features in Sara’s bombshell article.

why did John McCain visit Australia in May 2017? it seems to have been a sudden visit:

26 Apr 2017: Canberra Times: US Republican senator John McCain to visit Canberra and Sydney
By Tom McIlroy
Republican elder statesman Senator John McCain is expected to meet Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull in Australia within weeks, coming on the heels of a meeting with President Donald Trump in New York...

Senator McCain, a former prisoner of war and 2008 Republican candidate for the White House, intervened in the diplomatic ructions caused by President Trump’s now infamous phone call with Mr Turnbull in January.
The two leaders clashed over a refugee people swap deal signed under the Obama administration, causing days of headlines about the usually rock solid alliance, seeing Senator McCain and other senior Republicans call out the president’s harmful treatment of Australia...

A regular critic and target of Mr Trump, the respected Arizona senator later called Australia’s ambassador to the US, Joe Hockey, to express support for the alliance, including over military and intelligence cooperation and deployment on US Marines in the Northern Territory...

30 May 2017: SMH: John McCain calls on Australia to sustain alliance with United States during Donald Trump presidency
By Nick O’Malley
In an extraordinary address in Sydney on Tuesday evening, Republican giant John McCain begged an Australian audience that included two former prime ministers, diplomats and business leaders for patience and even leadership to sustain the alliance between the US and Australia during the Trump presidency.

Speaking as a guest of the United States Studies Centre in the State Library’s grand reading room, McCain began his speech with a reverent reflection upon the shared sacrifices of Australian and American soldiers over a century, before acknowledging the uncertainty the new administration had caused around the world
“I realise that I come to Australia at a time when many are questioning whether America is still committed to these values,” the US senator said early in his 30-minute address. “And you are not alone. Other American allies have similar doubts these days. And this is understandable.
“I realise that some of President Trump’s actions and statements have unsettled America’s friends. They have unsettled many Americans as well. There is a real debate under way now in my country about what kind of role America should play in the world. And frankly, I do not know how this debate will play out”...

While most congressional Republicans have stayed quiet as the White House battles investigations over the Trump campaign’s alleged ties with Russia, McCain has already declared that he believes the scandal has taken on Watergate proportions...

I seriously don’t know how Sessions can look at himself in the mirror after collecting his paycheck.

I don’t either, unless he is part of the swamp. I don’t know if he is or not, but that could possibly explain it.

So “not being influenced” is why Sessions is letting Hillary skate while at the same time making certain that Trump is investigated thoroughly for 8 years. Sorry, not buying today.

McCain was invited to Australia by the son-in-law of then Australian Prime Minister (ousted last week) Malcolm Turnbull, who had infamously made a deal with Obama - after Trump was elected - to take so-called “refugees” Australia was holding on islands to its north, knowing full well that would not sit well with the incoming President.
Turnbull also rushed to ratify the Paris Agreement the minute Trump was elected President, knowing Trump had campaigned on withdrawing from it:

10 Nov 2016: news.com.au: Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull ratifies Paris climate change deal
AUSTRALIA has locked in its support for the Paris agreements as Donald Trump’s election puts global efforts on climate change under threat...
It comes after Donald Trump’s election to the US presidency on Wednesday put global action on climate change under threat...

26 Apr 2017: Canberra Times: US Republican senator John McCain to visit Canberra and Sydney
By Tom McIlroy
Fairfax Media understands Senator McCain will deliver a keynote speech on America’s overseas alliances, following an invitation from the centre’s research director James Brown, Mr Turnbull’s son-in-law...
https://www.canberratimes.com.au/national/act/us-republican-senator-john-mccain-to-visit-canberra-and-sydney-20170426-gvsn8t.html

Alexander Downer is from the same party - the conservative Liberal Party - as Malcolm Turnbull.

the University where McCain spoke, is a hotbed of cultural Marxism and is in the news this week over the following:

27 Aug: 2GB: ‘What a load of absolute rubbish!’: Chris Smith slams university’s pro-North Korean article
Chris Smith has slammed an article in a University of Sydney student newspaper which praises North Korea.
The article published in the ‘Honi Soit’ is written by a PhD candidate and is titled ‘Nine days in North Korea’...

The article goes on to say the North Korean society is “a highly organised one with significant levels of mass participation”, and they saw “a highly organised, egalitarian and energised society”.
The author even goes on to say the country is credibly standing up to the United States...
https://www.2gb.com/what-a-load-of-absolute-rubbish-chris-smith-slams-universitys-pro-north-korean-article/

so why was McCain really in Australia? getting Downer/Spygate stories coordinated?

29 May 2017: ABC TV 7.30 Report: Vladimir Putin a bigger threat than Islamic State, John McCain says
Russian President Vladimir Putin is a bigger threat to world security than the Islamic State group, US senator John McCain has told the ABC.
The Republican also admitted in an exclusive interview with 7.30 that President Donald Trump sometimes made him “nervous”.
During a visit to Canberra, Senator McCain said Mr Putin was the “premier and most important threat, more so than ISIS”...
“I think ISIS can do terrible things. But it’s the Russians who tried to destroy the fundamental of democracy and that is to change the outcome of an American election,” he said.
“I’ve seen no evidence they succeeded, but they tried and they are still trying to change elections.
“They just tried to affect the outcome of the French election. So I view Vladimir Putin — who has dismembered Ukraine, a sovereign nation, who is putting pressure on the Baltics — I view the Russians as the far greatest challenge that we have.”...

Nervous about Trump
“I don’t think there’s any doubt that this FBI issue and the whole issue of the Russians, it’s a scandal of significant proportions and it’s going to be with us for quite a while...

Kushner allegations
On allegations that White House adviser Jared Kushner discussed a secret communication channel with Russia, Mr McCain said: “I don’t like it, I just don’t.”...

“And I think Mr [James] Comey (the former FBI director) we now know took action that he did in regards to then-candidate Clinton in regards to false news that was being put out by the Russians.
“This is becoming more and more bizarre, in fact you can’t make it up.”...

Regarding Hillary...

Lionel Nation has a short video on YouTube where he presents the supposition that Obama pardoned Hillary for all future indictments. He outlines the historical use of the power of pardon.

Somehow I doubt the president can issue a secret pardon.

A president probably can issue a secret pardon, sort of. But it doesn’t do the recipient any good until it’s presented in court. If presented, it would have to be authenticated by a record of it somewhere.

If the pardon is in advance of prosecution to prevent court action, it would of course be public in the sense that the DOJ would have to have been informed and records kept.

The Obama administration, under their own impulse and driven by Hillary’s evil heart, were

already freely and illegally spying on everyone.

At some level there must have been felt some pushback that caused higher ups to say “we need

a cover story for this”.

Probably Blumenthal sketched the outline of the dossier plotline and they, Sid Vicious and

Hillary, went to Brennan to get it planted as predicate evidence for FISA.

FISC didn’t buy it first time so they planted a maleable judge on FISC and with more press

‘stories’ to pad out the application got the new FISC judge to rubber stamp the FISA warrant.

Meanwhile, Brennan and Mueller are running any number of intel ops at Trump’s people, hoping

to catch them at something - anything - that can be used to keep investigating.

And Jeff Sessions is still too scared of Rosenstein to crawl out from under his desk.
