As much as I disagree with McCain’s anti-American policies and despicable behavior, I can’t really hold something like this against anyone in a Communist prison camp. However, it should be known by everyone if only to emphasize the true courage of men like Jeremiah Andrew Denton who blinked “torture” in Morse code while being filmed for his propaganda commercial.

It would be one thing had he cracked under torture, particularly if he owned that fact during his debriefing and then acknowledged it in public (since he was in public life). But that's not the case, is it?

He rode his "hero" status like a conquering Caesar. That is the biggest thing that galls me. Even those commentators with whom I agree say, "we may not have liked all of what he did in the Senate, but, by God, he was a WAR HERO." ((puke))
